CMU Rowing Club
Help CMU Rowing Club travel to races!
Carnegie Mellon University Rowing Club is CMU's club rowing team. We are a team of 35 dedicated rowers who practice year round both indoors and outdoors for our races in the Fall and Spring. Teammates put in hours of hard work, waking up for 5 am practices 6 days a week, to perform our very best at our races at the end of the season. Money raised in this fundraiser would provide us much needed resources to make these races possible!

With the raised funds we hope to:
1) Purchase a personalized tent for use during our races - our races are outdoors and in parks, where there is little shelter. We race rain or shine, which means we sometimes must spend the whole day in the rain. Other teams take shelter in large tents, with their team name and logo on it, which are usually purchased by their alumni or club. We would like to purchase a 10' x 20' tent with enclosures and our printed team name and crest. This tent would not only keep us dry during weekend-long races, but would also stand as a symbol for team pride!
2) Fund our travels to ACRA Henley - this is our championship race on 5/14- 5/15 in Nashville, Tennessee. In order to travel to this event, we will need to rent vans for transportation, pay for lodging at the location, and rent a trailer to tow our boats to the race. We have never competed at this race before and are excited to see how competitive we are against new schools!
