MIT Sloan 2020
The MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference is an annual conference held every year in Boston. This conference brings together both academic professionals in the field as well as industry professionals, ranging from esteemed players to head coaches to general managers of many teams. Not only is this conference beneficial to students to learn more about the groundbreaking progress in sports analytics, but also provides a place to interact with professional sports organizations for internships and full-time jobs.
The Tartan Sports Analytics Club is a sports analytics club founded to teach students about data science with an application in sports, as well as connect students to industry professionals as well as gain employment in this space. Each year, we send roughly 2-4 students to Sloan, in order to further their knowledge and network.
With your help and support, we want to be able to provide this opportunity to as many students as possible, so that everyone has access to a conference as valued as this. As travel costs are prohibitive, each dollar donated helps more students attend the conference this year. The $2500 goal will help 4-6 students attend the conference. We appreciate any donation you can make. Thank you!
