PAY IT FORWARD
The MSE Student Impact Challenge has closed. You can still support Carnegie Mellon University by visiting giving.cmu.edu.
As the academic year comes to a close, it is time to reflect on the success of our graduating students and begin planning for new faces to arrive on campus in the fall. The ever-increasing speed in which technology, and our understanding of it, changes means that we need to be able to adapt our curriculum and resources with the same agility. Your support will allow us to continue to provide unique opportunities for future Tartans.
WHY GIVE?
We pride ourselves in giving students a hands-on learning experience by training them on cutting-edge equipment. Your gift to the Materials Science and Engineering Student Impact Fund allows us to maintain these important instruments and invest in new tools, giving our students a competitive advantage in their field.
SPECIAL CHALLENGE
Miles Hinderliter (MSE 2002) is challenging his fellow alumni to support the MSE Student Impact Fund, which he generously established with a lead gift. If 50 alumni make a gift of any amount to the MSE Student Impact Fund by May 18, Miles will contribute an additional $10,000 to the department.
That's $10,000 to help provide students with state-of-the-art experimental equipment, key software, textbooks, modern computer resources and access to professional society meetings.
